EPC – LS+UP: Hydroelectric Project over San Juan River, which complements the Caracoles hydroelectric power plant, for river basin regulation, irrigation and hydroelectric power generation. The works include the diversion tunnel and its transformation into bottom spillway, loose rock and concrete dam; flood spillway controlled by sluice gates and open-air canal; power generation through two 30 MW Francis type turbines, with a total yearly generation of 300 Gwh and transformer station connected to Caracoles high voltage transmission line.
