EPC-LS+UP: The seawater pipeline system runs from the Michilla port to the mine facilities located in Sierra Gorda, Antofagasta, 145 km and diam. 36” & 38” – steel pipe type API 5LX70, including also four pumping stations. The concentrates pipeline runs from the mine facilities to the Michilla port, 145 km of diam. 5” and 7” – steel pipe API 5LX65 with 3LPE external coating, including also two intermediate valve stations, one dissipating terminal station and three pressure monitoring stations. The project also comprises the installation of an instrumentation and control system through a fiber optic cable, which will be installed over the sand bed of the concentrates pipeline starting at the Control Room 320-ER-002, at the mine facilities, and ending at the Control Room 741-ER-001 at the intake pumping station located at the port facilities.
